In early 2021, event marketing consultant Emily Rochotte told BizBash, “If you were just starting your company and you could only have one social media platform, I’d tell you that TikTok should be the one.”

But despite the app’s explosion in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, event professionals have been a bit slower to adopt the platform—likely because of the video-focused format and the pressure to create unique, creative content that stands out. But many of the event profs who have focused on the platform are finding great success, with several telling us recently that TikTok is quickly becoming a go-to professional tool.

Wondering where to start? We’ve rounded up some of our favorite accounts for design and floral inspo, behind the scenes details, and other industry insights.
