Spending the day near Rodeo Drive? Here’s where to go for...
1. Food and Drinks: The much-anticipated baked-goods outpost of Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bistro, Bouchon Bakery opened in August. While the bakery has no private space, the bistro has two private dining rooms that seat 10 or 20.
2. Pampering: The bilevel Rossano Ferretti Hairspa covers 5,000 square feet. The upper level has three rooms and a lounge, making it right for private pampering parties. The center of the venue houses a black lacquer community table, fit for meals or snacks.
3. Lodging: From the fourth generation of the Cipriani family, Mr. C opened in June. The 138-room hotel has 12 suites and spacious guest rooms, all with private balconies. The design includes dark hardwood floors, burgundy and gray palettes, and vintage black-and-white photographs. A 12th-floor indoor-outdoor private event space offers panoramic city views.
