LOS ANGELES Looking for eye-catching decor? Try these three new rental ideas for a big impact.
For the Tabletop: In January, Kool Party Rentals began renting a new acrylic candelabra in three styles, known as Chic, Casual, and Contempo. The clear product is approximately 36 inches long by 30 inches high, with a wireless LED base that allows it to glow in various colors, or change colors throughout an event. There is a middle platform area for flower designs, and the candelabra can be used with pillar, taper, or mechanical candles. Rental pricing is $90 wholesale for industry professionals, or $125 retail.
For the Bar: This spring, Fresh Wata is offering a new highboy known as the Butterfly Effect. The tables have three legs, which narrow at the base for a trompe l'oeil effect. The items were first used at a press conference for Dora the Explorer in Los Angeles. The tables rent for $220 apiece for a three-day rental.
For the Dining Room: For a splashy, over-the-top look, Chameleon Chair Collection is renting a new crocodile-look chair cover available in purple, white, black, and bronze. The product was new for the fourth quarter of 2009, and is made to fit the Chameleon chairs alone. The new look rents for $18.50 for the chair with cover, and is available exclusively through Classic Party Rentals.
