NEW YORK At Ivana Trump's dance and disco party, which coincided with Studio 54's 25th anniversary, the Winstead Group served food reminiscent of disco ball days and psychedelic shades. Caterwaiters in hot pink shirts offered tempura shrimp from mirrored trays with coconut curry sauce served in Aquanet caps (an homage to Trump's gravity-defying 'do?). Other passed hors d'oeuvres--including wasabi potatoes and pepper-crusted beef on potato crisp--made the rounds on white trays lined with clear pebbles and lit with mini glowsticks.
A colorful dessert table included trays of hot pink, violet, lime green and orange truffles dusted with edible glitter; strawberries covered with white and dark chocolate and dusted with edible gold, silver and pink glitter; and an assortment of flower, smiley face and moon cookies.
