If you're looking to draw attention to an event or promotion, Flogos Canada can create cloud-like images that float in the sky. The company, which acquired the Canadian rights to the product last year, uses helium-injected biodegradable soap foam to create custom designs. The foam is forced through a stencil by a generator to create an image, with roughly one design being released every 15 seconds. Flogos can be formulated to last for as long as their visual impact is needed and can travel 20 to 30 miles and go as high as 20,000 feet. Flogo generators are available in 24-, 36-, and 48-inch versions. The company's in-house art department can create custom designs in two to three days, and colour-tinted flogos are available. A single generator costs $3,500 for a four-hour rental.
