New York, November 13, 2001 - The BiZBash
Idea Center (www.bizbash.com),
the first comprehensive media outlet for corporate event
planners, meeting planners and hospitality executives,
announced today that Chad Kaydo, age 27, has been promoted
to Editor in Chief. Kaydo most recently was the Executive
Editor of BiZBash. In his new role Kaydo will take on
the senior editorial position at BiZBash. He will continue
to be responsible for content on the BiZBash.com site
and the weekly BiZBash Event Style Alert and BiZBash
Event Calendar online newsletters. The BiZBash Event
Style Reporter, a print newspaper, will debut in early
2002.
According to BiZBash CEO and Founder David Adler,
"Chad has been critical in developing BiZBash’s content,
both online and in print. His high journalistic standards
and sense of style have helped to create a new media
brand that has had an important impact on the event,
meeting and business entertaining industry in just a
short time.”
“During the recent problems in New York City, Chad
proved the power of niche Internet journalism by his
thoughtful coverage of the event industry’s response
and the on-going recovery,” Adler continued.
Previously, Chad was an associate editor at Sales
& Marketing Management magazine. He wrote about topics
including event marketing, travel and e-commerce. Chad
earned degrees in journalism and English at Ohio University
in Athens, Ohio. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and
has also written for POZ magazine.
