Bel Air Country Club
This private golf course and club opened in 1926 near U.C.L.A.’s main campus. The scenic and hilly 18-hole course is a hub for the entertainment industry, with many high-profile members. It’s also the course where Howard Hughes once landed an airplane on a fairway to impress Katharine Hepburn. The Spanish-style clubhouse is open for lunch, dinner, and private events.
