The rise of tablets is changing how professionals interact at conferences. I love my tablet and often use it in lieu of my laptop because it is lightweight, portable, powerful, and can access the same things. When I am at an event or trade show, I use my tablet to look up a speaker, review a company and its products, sign up for a free trial, edit a document and email it to a client, or send a thank-you email to someone I just met. Tablets are changing the way business gets done.
