For planners concerned with the rising cost of food (and who isn’t these days?) Tip of the Tongue Caterers recently added a budget calculator to its redesigned Web site. After answering a few basic questions, users get an instant ballpark estimate for food, staffing, equipment, and beverages that is broken down by price per person and overall cost. Actual dishes aren’t included in the quote, but owners Scott Fagan and Eric McIntyre will work with clients to create custom menus within that price range.
