Chef Shigefumi Tachibe, our corporate executive chef is the creator of the original tuna tartare. His chef’s knife and coat are currently on display at the Smithsonian Museum. The Chaya Restaurant Group has owned and operated successful restaurants in Los Angeles and San Francisco for 30 years.
