Specializing in haute comfort food, Rubell makes dishes like polenta crostini with wild mushrooms and truffle fondue, braised short ribs, and his signature soufflés. Last spring hHe hosted the Santa Monica Farmers Market 25th anniversary dinner, where L.A.-based chefs were paired with local farmers to create unique dishes to benefit the organization.
