| The Fairmont Chicago Offers Personalized Treatments at MySpa |
|
The Fairmont Chicago recently revamped a former bar on the lower level of the hotel and transformed the space into MySpa, which opened on February 15. Enhanced by natural materials, the spa's minimalist design features a mosaic stone floor, a teak walkway, and oversize photographs of tropical flowers by Australian artist Warwick Orme.
The 11,000-square-foot space has eight treatment rooms (including a tricked-out duet suite with side-by-side massage tables and an infinity soaking tub), plus a retail area and a fitness center. All spa guests are welcome to use the facility's fitness center, and the staff even provides workout wear and shoes. |

The spa focuses on personalized treatments, offering a wide range of skin-care, nail, massage, and body-therapy services, as well as add-ons like foot scrubs, paraffin treatments, and hot-stone massages. IPod docks in each treatment room also help customize the experience.
MySpa can accommodate 11 treatments at once, with express spa-lunch manicures, massages, facials, and customizable treatment packages among the options. The entire space can also be rented for up to three hours, and a room equipped with a projector and screen is available for events and meetings. Catering is available through the hotel.
The spa's therapists can perform mini-services (such as chair and hand massages and desktop yoga) at meeting sites, and hotel guests can have massage treatments in their rooms.
