InterContinental Chicago O'Hare to Open in September
On September 3, the InterContinental Chicago O'Hare will open in Rosemont, minutes away from O'Hare International Airport and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

The hotel will offer 53,000 square feet of meeting space. A total of 33 event areas will include four grand ballrooms—each with a distinct decorative scheme and a 1,100-guest capacity—and nine private boardrooms. Megan Streiff, the property's social catering director, will work with planners to arrange menues, linens, decor, entertainment, and audiovisuals for meetings and events.

Amenities of the 560-room hotel are slated to include the on-site Museo art gallery, a 250-seat live entertainment venue, and three restaurants, including new locations of the  McCormick & Schmick's seafood chain and high-end steak house The Capital Grille.
