C3 Presents Tapped to Stage Election Night Rally
More on election night plans: The Chicago Sun-Times suggests that Obama's event in Grant Park should be dubbed "Obamapalooza," as Lollapalooza-organizers C3 Presents will reportedly stage the event. City officials have yet to confirm this fact.

Based in Austin, Texas, C3 Presents is said to have strong ties to Mayor Richard Daley, and has recently had an increasing presence in Chicago. Daley's nephew, attorney Mark Vanecko, negotaited a five-year Lollapalooza contract with the company, which has also signed on to host several events in Soldier Field during the Bears' offseason. Reps for C3 have also expressed interest in playing a large part in the 2016 Olympics, should Chicago host the games.
