Cuvée Offers Bubbly Decor, Event Space for 400
Cuvée, a 5,000-square-foot lounge in River North, opened in late September. With an unmarked alleyway entrance, the lounge has decor inspired by the inside of a champagne bottle. Trappings include light boxes filled with golden and brown marbles, and colorful mirrored discs hang from the ceiling to evoke bubble clusters.

The venue can be bought out for groups of 400; there are also semiprivate areas available for smaller groups. To the right of the space, a raised, banquette-lined area can hold 20. Throughout the venue, lounge areas that are typically reserved for bottle service can seat eight.

The cocktail list focuses on—you guessed it—champagne and champagne cocktails, and offers selections such as bellinis and the "Chandon Bubble-Tini," which blends the sparkling beverage with fresh-cut strawberries, simple syrup, and vodka. On-site event planners can arrange for catering through preferred vendor Jordan's Food of Distinction; hosts are also welcome to bring in their own suppliers.
