2 New Restaurants for Private Pizza Parties
These Lincoln Park restaurants offer pizza and private dining rooms.

1. Orvieto Pizzeria and Wine bar opened in the Green Dolphin Street jazz club in September. Chef Nino Corona's menu specializes in Northern Italian fare and includes antipasti, pasta, and entrees like chicken Parmesan and tilapia with artichokes and Dijon mustard-cream sauce. Pizza, the house specialty, comes in flavors such as basic margherita and potato-rosemary. Available for full buyout during the daytime, the venue can host seated luncheons for 80. Smaller lunches or dinners can take place in the private Green dining room, which seats 30, and in the  wine room, which holds 22.

2. Nella Pizzeria Napoletana popped up in November. Owner Nella Grasano formerly prepared pizzas at Ravenswood's Spacca Napoli; at her new spot, she bakes pies in a 12,000-pound oven composed of imported bricks from Vesuvius. On the menu, options include white pizza with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto, the Mare e Monti pizza with baby shrimp and porcini mushrooms, and calzones with ingredients such as ricotta cheese, salami, and artichoke hearts. For events, food is served family style, and pastas, salads, and antipasti dishes are also available. At the back of the restaurant, a private dining room can be configured to seat groups of 24 or 36.
