OVERVIEW
In the center of downtown Chicago, facing the Chicago River, the Civic Opera House was built in 1929 and is the second-largest opera auditorium in North America. The venue features a blend of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. The famed Lyric Opera of Chicago calls this space home, and the stage has also hosted performances by Broadway musicals and famous artists such as Frank Sinatra. The Ardis Krainik Theatre seats 3,563, and three other rooms are available for groups of 75 to 700.
