OVERVIEW
The House of Blues Hotel got a $25 million makeover that culminated last July, transforming the property into Hotel Sax. In addition to providing new amenities in the 350 guest rooms (think flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi), the hotel also revamped the lobby, which now features mirrored white walls. A 10,000-square-foot meeting space opened in late 2007, and the property has replaced Kaz Bar with Crimson, a regal-looking lounge with four private areas for cocktails or events.
