OVERVIEW
Brothers Manolis and George Alpogianis, who come from a family of chefs, took road trips across the country sampling hot dogs for three years before opening their first store at Navy Pier in 1996. They now have four city locations, and although their specialty is hot dogs, their in-store and catering menus are full of classic American eats, including barbecue and pasta offerings. The brothers have catered events for as many as 3,000 guests, with recent clients including the International Boxing Tournament, Ernst & Young, and People's Energy.
