OVERVIEW
Founded in 1990 by Rita Gutekanst and Marguerite Lytle, Limelight Catering is best known for its dramatic presentations and pastries, and has catered premier local events such as the Steppenwolf Theatre gala, Lollapalooza, and the Lincoln Park Zoo ball, as well as corporate celebrations and trade shows for as many as 2,000. Chef Brian Shustrick oversees the menu, which he describes as “seasonal American eclectic cuisine with global liberties.” Clients include Lannon Communications, Northwestern University, PAWS, and the Mayor’s Office of Special Events.
