OVERVIEW
Housed in the basement of River North Mexican restaurant Mercadito, Double A opened in November 2009. At the center of the cocktail lounge, a mixologist prepares drinks at an exposed work station. Specialty drinks include the "Masalarinha," infused with grapefruit, grilled pineapple, and ginger liqueur; the "Down South" is made with strawberries, Prosecco, and guava nectar. Decked with antiqued leather booths and mirror-topped tables, the venue holds 65.
