CHICAGO The advertising industry will fete its own achievements tomorrow at the Chicago Creative Club Awards, an event produced in partnership with the Chicago Advertising Federation. The awards ceremony will take over Soldier Field's United Club and is slated to include new categories such as Agency of the Year and Client of the Year.
In an inaugural competition sponsored by Bridgestone Firestone, students will submit ideas for an assignment put forth by the company; the winner will receive a $2,500 cash prize. Also new this year is a judges panel made up entirely of representatives from local advertising firms. Comedian Greg Giraldo will act as M.C.
