OVERVIEW
Built in 1891 by J.P. Morgan, this Italianate palace is packed with details including ornate columns and gilt and marble accents. Eleven rooms are available to rent, including the great hall, which holds 250 for receptions, and the main dining room, which holds 400. The entire ground floor holds 1,500 for receptions. The club has hosted such events as the Hospitality Committee for the United Nations Delegations’ Ambassadors’ ball. Events cannot bring press on the premises, and a business-attire dress code is enforced.
