OVERVIEW
One of the oldest African dance companies in America, Ko-Thi is dedicated to propogating the traditions of African, African-American and Caribbean dance and music. The company's performers--who are trained in the history, lore and practice of these traditions--can perform a variety of shows for corporate events. Their performances range from a formal two-hour performance to an hour-long informal presentation with historical explanations by a narrator. Ko-Thi also offers a series of "Drum Talk" seminars and workshops in African and Caribbean dance and music. --Samantha Melamed
