The former Continental in Beverly Hills is now this Japanese spot, named for an Impressionist painter and wood engraver. The once musty, dark restaurant and lounge is now filled with white-linen-covered tables, multi-hued woods, and soft leather banquettes. In the middle of the dining room, a mirrored tower is etched with Japanese words for the elements and seasons. The entire space seats 90.
