TORONTO Artists created a sweet piece of art at the Canadian Special Event Show's opening night party in March. Janice Cardinale of the Idea Hunter oversaw the evening's entertainment, which included a performance from Toronto duo Gilded Live. While an artist painted on a wood canvas using chocolate as her medium, a musician provided accompaniment on piano and guitar. The chocolate work of art—which lasts as long as a typical painting—was auctioned off after the function. The event took place at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts.
