LOS ANGELES With outposts of its Hyde lounge on Sunset Boulevard and at Staples Center, SBE opened a third location in Mammoth on January 15—as storms dropped considerable fresh snow that sent crowds clamoring. Hyde Lounge Mammoth holds 120 guests indoors and as many as 200 outside on its heated patio. In all, there is close to 5,000 square feet of space for special events and tableside service, and the club is available for buyout.
Modeled after the orgininal Hyde on Sunset, the space has a V-shaped bar, a pool table, and plasma video displays. The wrap-around patio faces the gondola and offers direct access to the village.
The menu includes happy hour specials and late-night bites. Appetizers and entrees include miso cod lettuce cups, bistro shrimp pasta, and an ale-battered cod sandwich, plus traditional American bites like burgers, pigs in a blanket, free-range roast chicken, and onion rings.
Big-name DJs perform nightly.
