The rooftop bar of the Standard New York hotel opened in 2010 with fake grass carpeting the floors, patio furniture, and a striking view from its 18th-floor perch. Dubbed Le Bain, the spot is collaboration between André Balazs, owner of the hotel, and nightlife entrepreneur André Saraiva and sits adjacent to the space known as the Top of the Standard. The bar holds 150 standing, 200 with the uncovered roof space.
