Levy Events Catering
This full-service catering company, an offshoot of Levy Restaurants, opened in 1978. Gustavo Jimenez has been the executive chef for 13 years, serving creative, global cuisine, ranging from Asian fare to Chicago classics. Client favorites are the lobster mac ’n’ cheese, baby lamb chops with sun-dried cherry sauce, and cheesecake towers dusted with cinnamon and sugar. Levy Events has catered functions for as many as 12,000 guests at locations around Chicagoland, including Café Brauer and Kohl Children’s Museum. It is the exclusive caterer for Grand Piazza and the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame.
