Lucques to Cater 2010 SAG Awards
Lucques Catering will cater the 16th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 23, 2010, at the Shrine Expo Center, SAG Awards committee chair JoBeth Williams announced yesterday. The venue will be transformed into a dinner theater setting for the festivities.

“The SAG Awards challenges a chef to create a single plate that appeals to both the eye and the palate and as a televised event requires impeccable service that is efficient and unobtrusive," Williams said in the announcement. "We are confident we have found both in Lucques Catering, as well as an eco-consciousness that parallels our own.” MORE >>

The most ballyhooed shindig of the entertainment year, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences’ Oscars take place at the Kodak Theatre. Vanity Fair generally has a lock on the most coveted after-party, but the magazine canceled its 2008 event in the wake of the Writers Guild strike, leaving Elton John's AIDS fund-raiser as this year's most high-profile Oscar bash. Sequoia Productions is the longtime producer of the academy’s official Governors Ball. The 80th annual show was held on February 24. MORE >>
