The National Business Travel Association kicked off its annual conference on Sunday night at L.A. Live with a performance by Cyndi Lauper, while the surrounding areas became a networking-conducive outdoor club space.

The event, dubbed "Intrigue," was meant to facilitate a loungey atmosphere where partygoers could network. Set in the streets of downtown Los Angeles, the event featured modern decor, a DJ, and multiple spaces with dance floors. “The concept involved creating a true high-tech club outside on the streets of downtown. This club atmosphere in a unique, urban setting was the perfect way to get everyone excited about Los Angeles while enjoying an evening surrounded by the city,” said Eventworks president Janet Elkins.
