Alex Matthews and Chris Hoffberger founded the months-old company Agency DJs with the idea to gather the top emerging and established musicians and DJs in the Los Angeles area together under one banner, in order to offer one-stop shopping for corporate clients. The firm works with its clients to match music to an event, employing a roster of DJs whose aptitudes run the gamut from standard pop music to avant-garde tracks from around the world. As a policy, Agency DJs arrive an hour early for events with their own equipment, providing turntables, speakers, and other necessary paraphernalia.
