Brentwood's New Tavern Has a Glass-Covered Atrium and Room for 200
Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne, the partners behind Lucques and A.O.C., opened a new venture last month in Brentwood Village: Tavern. Staying true to its name, the restaurant has a British gastrpub vibe, with modern touches. The main dining room is a glass-roofed atrium with plenty of natural light, wood floors, long tufted sofas, gray upholstered chairs, and zinc-topped tables. A separate bar area has all-white decor as a backdrop for diners in the mood for small plates and drinks.

There are different menus for lunch, dinner, and the bar, but all offer classic American salads and sandwiches. There is a larder at the front of the restaurant that serves as a bakery and marketplace for takeout.

Tavern is available for full and partial buyout for events. The main dining room holds 100, an additional room holds 36, and the entire space holds as many as 200.
