In June, Gen Art faced financial trouble, due in part to a drop in sponsorship dollars, but now it looks as though the organization will be getting some much-needed support from a new partner. Announced today, Gen Art will join forces with Rock Media & Entertainment, a two-year-old company that has produced events such as Rock Fashion Week in Miami, Haven House at the Oscars, and New York's Style360 shows during Fashion Week. The merged entity, called R.M.G.A. LLC, will produce its inaugural event on September 15—Gen Art's 15th anniversary Fresh Faces in Fashion show.

“This is an amazing opportunity to create a more powerful platform for the brands and talent we work with. This merger will advance our joint strategy to create branded entertainment and intellectual property for clients that advance the careers of talent and bring branded content to millions of subscribers across multiple touch points,” Gen Art C.E.O and founder Ian Gerard said in the press release.

Additionally, R.M.G.A. will work on other events as the two organizations combine offices in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Following the September 15 event—the official finale of the Style360 shows—the companies will move the Los Angeles Fresh Faces in Fashion event into Rock Fashion Week L.A., slated for October 29 at Paramount Studios, and work on a similar one during Rock Fashion Week Miami, scheduled for October 14 through 18.
