| SBE Confirms Split With Bolthouse |
|
In a statement released today, SBE confirmed recent reports that its working relationship with Bolthouse Productions has ended.
“We have appreciated the contributions of Brent Bolthouse and Jennifer Rosero to the SBE family over the years and wish Brent, Jen, and everyone at Bolthouse continued success as they pursue other opportunities,” said SBE C.E.O. Sam Nazarian in the release.
SBE recently opened Mi-6 on Santa Monica Boulevard, and has plans to open Hyde at Staples Center soon. The group has also recently acquired nightlife venues Halo and Nacional; it plans to relaunch and redesign both in the coming months.
A call to reach Bolthouse for comment through publicity firm BNC was not immediately returned.
Update: Bolthouse's PR rep, Joanna Cichocki at BNC, said Bolthouse was traveling today, but confirmed on his behalf. "I can confirm that Bolthouse Productions has left day-to-day operations at SBE. Brent Bolthouse and Jenifer Rosero are continuing to operate Bolthouse Productions as an independent entity," Cichocki wrote in an email.
