Following buzz that started in February, Philippe Chow's restaurant with C.E.O. and principal Stratis Morfogen, Philippe West Hollywood, officially opens today in the former Dolce space in West Hollywood.

The 5,000-square-foot venue has room for 200 for a seated event or 300 for a reception. A private room seats 80 or holds 125 for a reception. A wine cellar seats 14 for private events.

Signature dishes include Peking duck, kung pao chicken with spicy peanut sauce, spicy prawns with spicy sweet-and-sour sauce, chicken satay skewers in cream sauce, and hand-pulled noodles in pork or veal bean sauce. Philippe serves lunch and dinner.

Signature drinks include the Shanghai Philippe (elderflower cordial, muddled fresh strawberries, Stoli strawberry, and champagne, with a strawberry garnish), the Philipptini (lychee and fresh-squeezed pineapple juice, Snow Queen vodka, triple sec, and a splash of Chambord), and the Philippe Passion (Absolut peach, Grey Goose pear, mango puree, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, syrup, soda, and a splash of cranberry).

Philippe also has locations in New York, Miami, East Hampton, and Mexico City.
