Any host of an event on a crowded party weekend knows how hard it is to get potential guests motivated. One idea is to simulate their living rooms at a Hollywood club. Tonight, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and In 2 It Media will host an event to benefit the VH1 Save the Music Foundation at Boulevard3, with no shortage of game-playing ops. In an effort to raise $10,000 for the foundation, organizers are asking guests to pay for chances to participate in a celebrity jam session on stage, or to challenge their pals to a duel on the latest version of Guitar Hero. Partygoers will be able to practice their skills before the battle at game stations throughout the space. Guitar Hero will also hand out its game to celebs.
