Grammy-related events took over Hollywoodland's social calendar this past weekend, and on Saturday night, Clive Davis's annual party at the Beverly Hilton was home to more than 1,000 guests, including singers Alicia Keys, Usher, and Fergie.
Planners transformed the ballroom with a neutral palette of beige and cream, with white hydrangeas and roses adding to the soft look. The menu included coconut shrimp and lobster-medallion canapés with caviar, grilled chicken breast filled with wild rice and sautéed wild mushrooms, and chocolate-dipped strawberries and truffles. The evening's performances, however, handpicked by the J Records founder, are what the night is known for, with newbie singer Leona Lewis, the Foo Fighters, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, and Keys all taking the stage. We polled a few guests throughout the evening to get their take on the event. |
