| Women's Event for Step-Up Network Plays Up Sex Appeal |

| Sex and the City's buzz-filled premiere may be a distant memory, but one group is still capitalizing on the all-girl energy that surrounded the film earlier this summer. Fresh Events Company produced Sunday's Pamper Me Fabulous event at the Ford Brady Loft on North Figueroa, where ticket-holding female guests headed for a day of beauty treatments among their friends to benefit the Step Up Women's Network. The event also featured a lounge area with snacks, a dessert station, and a bar. The event's Web site billed: "Lounge with girlfriends in a chic, modern setting, a la Sex and the City style."
Invitations for the event arrived in pink boxes, atop a pilllowy surface made from spa towels. Pink ribbons tied the cards, and satiny makeup applicator puffs decked the ribbons.
