What began as a few intimate dinners for chef Joachim Splichal’s loyal Patina restaurant patrons has turned into one of the largest off-premise catering companies in Southern California. Menus focus on California cuisine with a French aesthetic; signature dishes include braised beef short ribs with porcini mashed potatoes, ahi tuna cones, and compressed salad with Manchego cheese. Patina is the exclusive caterer of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
