OVERVIEW
Frank Sinatra and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra opened this 40,700-square-foot facility in 1940. Through the years, the stage has welcomed the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, dignitaries, award shows, and political rallies. When the floor is set for seated events, everyone can see the stage; the floor holds 3,500. There are computerized bar stations and a sound system.
