OVERVIEW
The Shrine has hosted many events—from MTV award shows to Miss Universe pageants—since opening in 1926 (the original 1906 building burned down in 1920). With 6,300 seats and a 54,000-square-foot expo center, it’s one of L.A.’s largest event spaces.
