OVERVIEW
The rooftop pool of this Andre Balazs-owned property—with its red-pod vibrating waterbeds, Astroturf floor, and surrounding shimmering skyline—became an immediate hit when it opened in 2002 and helped revive the downtown L.A. scene. The pool terrace holds 240 or can be broken into separate areas. Two meeting rooms, named Blonde and Brunette, hold 90. The mezzanine loft, with floor-to-ceiling windows, holds 135 people.
