OVERVIEW
The Recording Academy plans to open its 32,000-square-foot Grammy Museum in December. It will have four floors of exhibits dedicated to music, recording, and the history of the Grammy awards. A 200-seat soundstage on the second floor will present a behind-the-scenes look at the 50th annual Grammy awards during the day and will be available for events after hours; a sound system and camera equipment will enable planners to live-broadcast onstage events. The rooftop Target Terrace will hold 450. Private after-hours tours of the museum may be arranged.
