OVERVIEW
Architect Renzo Piano designed the latest addition to the Lacma campus, a 72,000-square-foot contemporary space that cost almost $60 million and that showcases artwork from the collection of Eli and Edythe Broad. The canopied 8,100-square-foot BP Grand Entrance seats 500 or holds 700 for receptions, and the north piazza holds as many as 800. Groups renting the museum's spaces have after-hours access to the galleries. Event planning, staffing, and security are among the in-house offerings at the new venues.
