LAS VEGAS Organized by Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce of Engaging Concepts, the Engage!12 luxury-wedding business summit took place at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas in June. At the ninth iteration of the Engage! series, more then 250 wedding industry professionals took part in networking events and listened to speakers like Marcy Blum and Mindy Weiss during the course of the three-day conference.
Taking cues from the glamorous look of the hotel, Engaging Concepts aimed to bring a modern feel to the collateral, and commissioned Gifts for the Good Life to handle the design and creation of much of the branded stationery and swag. “We want to create an experience for guests through gifting,” says Heather Arak-Kanofsky, who co-owns Gifts for the Good Life with her sister Susan Arak-Turnock. “We tried to surprise attendees by presenting the gifts at unexpected times and in unexpected places.”
