Former director of events at Gen Art Miami Monica Glass has recently been promoted to national event director. In this role, she now oversees five regional offices and communication between those regions and the national sales offices. Talks regarding the promotion went on for several months before details were ironed out and the final confirmation of her position was decided in mid-June.
Though currently residing in South Florida, Glass will relocate to the Los Angeles office, where she will be joining Gen Art's national film and marketing directors, at the beginning of August. According to Glass, executives at the company's national headquarters in New York chose the L.A. office specifically because of its large size and recent impressive growth.
Andrea Aberegg, formerly a regional manager, has taken over as the new Miami director of events.
