A Night for the Men
The Collection hosted the third annual Dewar's Men of Distinction awards, celebrating the deeds and tastes of accomplished men.
Last night whiskey company Dewar's held its third annual Men of Distinction award ceremony and after-party. At the Collection in Coral Gables, six distinguished gentlemen were honored for their philanthropic and business accomplishments.

Guests dined on mixed field green salads with apples and walnuts, filet mignon sandwiches, a selection of cheeses, and pastries from food stations set up throughout the space by Morton's, the Steakhouse. Pete Diaz Productions suspended projection screens above the crowd, which displayed sponsor logos and information.

In keeping with the man-appreciation-themed evening, a masseur from Monsieur - An Elite Day Spa for Men offered chair massages, while Dewar's waitresses wandered throughout the crowd serving complimentary cocktails-scotch on the rocks, to be specific. DJ Rascal also performed.

Honorees included Michael Bulnes, president of Selecta magazine; Lance Burnstyn, president of Krieger Watches; Vincente Castro, chief marketing officer of BenTrust Financial; Pedro Martin, chief executive officer of Terra Group; Manuel Medina, chief executive officer and chairman of Terramark; and Alex Rodriguez-Roig, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Miami. Awards were based on criteria of leadership, personal vision, and community involvement.
