| SeaFair Hosts Exhibits Alongside Art Basel |
|
Coinciding with Art Basel Miami Beach, the 228-foot SeaFair megayacht docked at the Miami Beach Marina is hosting Rock the Boat, a showcase of jewelry, art, and design. Among the events being held throughout the boat's 28 exhibition spaces are chef tastings, boat tours, fine-art exhibitions from renowned artists, and some of the world's finest jewelry.
The champagne preview party on November 29 featured jewels from Hancocks of London and Judith Ripka, rare Douglas Kirkland photographs of Coco Chanel, and companies that cater to the superrich, such as theluxuryindex.com-a Web site comparable to eBay, but with one-of-a-kind items up for bid such as private jets and Lamborghinis.
The luxurious floating venue has four expansive decks and a total event capacity of 750.
