| Helicopter Tours With Downtown Departures |

Global Air Group now offers helicopter tours of Miami and its beaches that depart from downtown.

Global Air Group Inc. provides helicopter tours of Miami with special rate packages for groups. The company, which formerly offered depatures only from Broward County’s North Perry Airport, now takes off from Bayside Marketplace, from a mobile marine helipad located just offshore in Biscayne Bay. Trained commercial pilots take guests on a short speedboat ride out to the chopper before lifting off for a 20- to 75-minute ride over the city.
There are 11 packaged tours available, taking in sights like South Beach, Star Island, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and the Miami Seaquarium. Helicopters accommodate three passengers each, though multiple aircraft can be booked for groups with more than 25 people (with as many as six helicopters flying simultaneously). Prices start at $55 per person and special rates for parties of 12 or more are available.
